I am looking for something for about 80°-60° with a base layer if needed. I was also thinking about the kutanas but didn't know how quiet they would be since they are nylon.
I am looking for an early season pant that is quiet. I currently wear the kuiu pro pant, but they are a little loud and run a little hot because of the knee pads. I was eyeballing the kuiu attack pants but didn't know if they would be any quieter or cooler than the pros. Does anyone have any...
I have noticed that Cabela's/Bass pro. Has replaced most of their thinsulate garments with thermolite. I couldn't find anything comparing these two insulations. Does anyone out there have any experience with these two insulations? If so how do they compare with one another?
That's a pretty awesome setup you have. I decided to ditch the ultralight plan and just try to build something that is relatively lightweight, well balanced, and simply cool to look at (similar to your rig). As far as cartridge choice the Ackley cartridges all peak my interest. I was thinking...
I thought about trying one of the new strong fleece layers but I thought they might be too warm for what I'm looking for. Did the 97 fit tighter than the 200? I know kuiu has it listed as a base layer but I feel like it would work better for a mid layer.
I am looking for a mid layer fleece that I could layer under my peloton 240 or wear by itself in temperatures that the 240 would be too warm. I originally bought the 240 to use as a mid layer but I've come to realize that it is more of a softshell than a mid layer fleece. I was considering the...
I have always liked the looks of the Cabela's Outfitter camo that they use on the wooltimate and Berber fleece lines. Recently I was looking through a Cabela's catalog from 2011 and saw that they had a tone of clothing offered in this camo pattern. does anyone happen to know why they stopped...
I recently saw that sitka is partnering with James Brand to create an outdoor Worthy kitchen knife. It sounded like a stupid idea to me, but I'm not a big knife guy so maybe it means more to you. I decided to check it out anyway and saw the price was $399. After seeing the price I couldn't help...
I wouldn't count on the quality either. The puffy said that it's made of poly fill and reflective aluminum. Doesn't sound so bad until they ask $400 for it. I just couldn't justify buying a jacket made of pillows and aluminum foil over an 850 fp kuiu down for the same price.
