I know the bag comes with it's own internal frame, but could you also easily attach it to a duplex lite or duplex tactical frame if you wanted the extra stability for carrying over 80 pounds?
I'm pretty sure you can do this with the 357 Mag but not sure about the Kutthroat. Thanks in advance if...
Finally put an order in for a Kifaru Duplex Tactical frame.
Hoping to get some ideas for budget friendly packs I could use in the short term until I throw down for a kifaru pack after Christmas.
Criteria: Relatively durable and could be attached without sewing or permanently altering the...
I was actually considering this option. The only downside is they're out of 24" curved frames. I've got a 19" torso length so I could possibly go with the 26" instead.
Since it's the tactical frame I can lower the load lifter angle with the multiple anchor points. Would that make it fit...
Looking for some input from Canadians who have bought frames/packs from Kifaru.
I'm in Nova Scotia and about to order a Duplex Tactical frame, during checkout I'm looking at the options available and have some questions.
UPS Standard - $57 Dollars
UPS Worldwide Expedited - $186

Thanks Kenneth, I'll get that picture soon. I'm pretty confident I need the curved stays, I'm wondering if I should go one step further and get the aluminum ones or not.
This is great feedback. I am looking for a one frame solution for everything from backpacking, trail clearing with akward tools, rucking/training whitetail and blackbear hunting, and also the possibility of going after Moose in the future.
I'm leaning toward the 24" tactical, just want to make...
I'm gonna be carrying axe/saw/chainsaw on some trips, and additional camp gear like tents and sleeping bags on others (I would be carrying gear for other people)
Hey all. I know I've asked a million questions recently, just trying to get as much info as I can to make an informed decision as being in Canada, getting it right the first time is important because shipping fees for returns suck.
Are there any advantages or disadvantages to the Duplex...
Just to clarify and make sure I'm ont the same page- I'm not talking about the height of the shoulder straps aka the torso length adjustment. On the duplex lite from my understanding you adjust that by tensioning the webbing that runs from the bottom of the shoulder straps around to the back of...
Now I just need to decide between the duplex lite and tactical. I will sometimes be carrying trail clearing tools and ive been advised the tactical is much better for that. The weight difference doesn't matter to me, if I cared about a few oz I wouldn't be buying an external frame pack.
I did...
Pretty set on getting a duplex tactical or duplex lite, but torn between 24" or 26" stays. I'm only 5'8" but my torso length is I believe around 19", which puts me in between the recommend frame sizes so in theory both should work.
My question is, in your opinion would it make sense to go with...
