.223 for bear, mountain goat, deer, elk, and moose.

That they are not but just to be clear I wasn't referencing little 200lb hogs that are running around the woods everywhere. Most full grown boars were in the 600lb range with some getting over 700. Most people don't even realize a pig can get that big. They are also omnivores.... Still not a...

.223 for bear, mountain goat, deer, elk, and moose.

I referenced that saying bone isn't as hard to penetrate as some people say it is. And I totally agree. I want way more fire power than a .22😆😆😆. Honestly after a few years of using the 77gr. TMK I would feel very comfortable having an AR loaded with those. I shoot AR regularly and a person can...

.223 for bear, mountain goat, deer, elk, and moose.

World record grizzly killed by a .22. Just remembered the story. Look it up. Granted it is not head on like Marbles is talking about 🤷

.223 for bear, mountain goat, deer, elk, and moose.

I would bet there's going to be no problem getting into brain cavity. I haven't shot a bear but I grew up on a pig farm and have witnessed ALLOT of pigs killed (well into the thousands). They were all done with a .22 or.22 mag at point blank. Seen a small number of cows killed the same way

.223 for bear, mountain goat, deer, elk, and moose.

This is exactly my view point. I don't take what form says as gospel but I have yet to disprove anything that he has said and I try every time I incorporate something he states. It has always been backed by facts and that's how I have always operated in this world. Makes me think of a post I saw...

    First ROK Stock Poll

I don't think the goal of those is to be economic AT ALL. The goal is to use stuff that actually works, the price of that stuff being on the cheaper side is just a benefit.

    Stocky’s Hunter VG Tikka stock

I don't own a stocky's at the moment but I was aware you guys were using a thinner version. If it functions the same then that's fine. I actually use my rifles and put ALLOT of rounds down range. Anything over .223 benefits from the limbsaver IMO

    Stocky’s Hunter VG Tikka stock

I wouldn't prefer the weight savings, would 1000% rather have a limbsaver. I put them on everything.

6.5 Creedmoor/260 for Deer, Elk, and whatever else.....

Ahhhh, I interpreted your first statement wrong. If they can be found would you prefer those federal loaded 140gr over 140 eldm. I had planned on using the Hornady this year as I don't reload. I have used the 77gr tmk with great results but nobody does a factory load with the creedmoor.

.223 for bear, mountain goat, deer, elk, and moose.

AAC tmk out of a Ruger MPR (18" AR-15). Seems about par for what I've seen so far in this thread with this ammo and coming out of an AR. Black hills for reference shot marginally better (1.5"ish) from what I remember. It will be fine for my purposes, whitetail under 200yds. Had no problems...

I don't have it in hand yet to confirm but just by looking at pictures I felt that it would be too obstructed mounting it to the front of the back ring.
