Military surplus has a light rain jacket and pants usually can be had for under $50 each. May be a little heavier then you want but they are probably pretty durable. I have a 3 layer Gore-Tex army surplus jacket and pants and they take some good abuse from me

I happened across their website today and it is very interesting. They use Toray fabric but import it back here to the states and source everything else here. The pants jacket and hat are the dot air fabric...
I have been looking at surplus stores for the patigonia stuff. I have the gen III softshell Camo and goretex pants/jacket combo. I want solid colors so I can wear them on my motorcycle when I go on camping trips with it. I’ll wear the Camo but I prefer solid colors
Military surplus fleece bibs. They are usually pretty cheap. I’ve had the jacket but not the pants. I loved the jacket both the old style with pit zips and new style without. If th pants are anything like them then they should be good.
I use army surplus rain gear. I am not a backpack hunter but it’s affordable 3layer gortex I have sat all day in a downpour and stayed dry except for my hands. I need water proof gloves of some kind.
I carry a sidearm all the time in Michigan no matter what I am doing. Also I have a pair of la police gear pants I think there operated model which are like 511 or bdu pants and they are great cheap and I would love them Except for the elastic waistband that digs into me.
I think for the price under armor should have more features. All jackets/vests should have 2 zippers so when I sit I can move the bottom one up a bit to keep my jacket from bubleing out especially if you are riding a4 wheeler or motorcycle in.
I am an average blue collar worker and I can’t spend $220 on pants $400 on an outer shell etc.etc.. if I buy something it has to be multi-use. For me that means solid colors earth toned. No flourecent stitching no big gaudy emblems. So far I own a pair of grey attack pants because those were the...
I wish Eddie Bauer would add a few more belt loops. My attack pants have about the right number and configuration of belt loops. I find most brands lack in that department. They are outdoor pants make them fit up to a 2” belt and don’t put a loop where my holster goes? Why why why ??
I have a vest that has like a high loft fleece in it. I love it. The hand pockets are extra big not like normal hand pockets. I can lay a water bottle on it’s side and push it back and there is still room for my hands. Only issue is I wish I got a size larger.
I have the Sylogear jacket and pants. It doesn’t block the wind but i can put
A light puffy under it and a hoody and it’s pretty warm. I have had it for a year but haven’t been stuck in the rain yet. It holds up brush busting I would like a jet stream or similar for the wind stopper
I wear my attack pants here in Michigan from 60 which is a bit warm down to the negatives with a base layer under them. As long as I am moving I’m good but I run hot. When I’m on stand I have a pair of army surplus puffy pants that I got real cheap and they work good so far
I didn’t realize they had a hat. I have a tiburon hat and I have tried to like it but it just don’t fit as good as my under armor hat. I am a hat guy I wear one every day all day so a good fit is important to me. I’m gonna have to order
One and see how I like it. My wife is gonna be thrilled...
