    how short of a barrel is too short .308 mountain rifle

    I run a bunch of short barrels. From 14"-18". Mine are on XP-100 pistols though. Sure is nice to throw them IN the pack. Here's my 284 I've been using for the last few years. Built a different stock last winter. Just over 5# with the new stock and the javelin bipod. Aaron

    They'd probably be happy if you shot two nannies. They are worried about the population crashing so they want to reduce them to a level where they won't. I wouldn't go there with the expectation of shooting two goats. Kodiak isn't an easy place to hunt. Unless you go for a really long trip...
