Personal opinion, would look at a series 60 landcruiser, 62 if you want an auto.
Strong trucks, heavy/sturdy if that is what you want. There is a reason guys build rock trucks out of them. Could get a gasser and convert a 4bt later on, if your into that type of thing. Good trucks that you can...
Ha, music.... Tool, Metallica, Waylon, Cash, Young, Dylan, Elvis, Audioslave, Pearl Jam, Corb Lund, Alice In Chains, Dwight Yoakam, etc.
Pretty good variety here.

I have 100 grain original solid broad heads, 1/2 bleeder (2 new packs), and a Ti goat stove I could possibly part with.
Send me a PM if you would be interested.

Where from in PA? I am in. Similar boat, live by the state college area, originally hail from Alberta, and am in a rut of working in gas market, on the east coast. Life out here is good, but miss the mountains, and mountain hunting, and a good pace to raise a family.
Been toying with the idea...
I just bought this Same boot, but in a wide as I found they run narrow-ish, but I’m an 8.5, 9.5 will be wider
Stiffness like a 3-4 on crispis scale. Full leather though. With better ancient support , IMO

Looking for opinions on a truck. Have an opportunity to buy a 2006 dodge Cummins loaded with cloth, has 19000 miles for $27k
Was initially looking at Gm 2500 6.0 gas, but stumbled on this diesel, not a big fan of dodge, but the Cummins is great.
The opportunity to buy this low mileage...
Great info, Appreciate the advice. Being into Guns and Bows, Yes, splitting hairs you have to be careful on where you invest time, Things can get carried away, you then realize you neglected a step in another area, like scouting, Fitness etc.
Thanks Men.
For the added weight, I was wondering if I should go a bit stiffer spine. Currently shooting a 340 destroyer, 28” at 68# 100gr head, 50gr insert, arrow weight 450ish. Think a 340 spine is heavy enough?
Thanks to all for the feedback, honestly thought I would be talked into FMJ, good to know I...
Greetings! Looking to update my setup to a bit heavier arrow, so have a pretty simple question for the masses and looking for some field Advice on New Arrows. 28" DL, shooting Axis 9.5/340 , Currently looking at either a 9.5 Grain Axis with Brass insert,,, Or a 11.2 FMJ with no insert.
Would...
Toyota.
Have a 77 FJ 40 I restored, tuff trucks. Trans are solid, diff are strong, birfields in place of u joints in the knuckles, king pins rather than ball joints etc.
personally for carrying gear and hunting buddies, I would look at a series 60 FJ with a 2f engine.

Think Browning, Sako and Weatherby.
Don’t know if any others with 60 degree throws.
I would personally go with Sako.

Thanks to the replies, Good to hear about actual field experience, Reinforces my thoughts on using these heads as i do like them. They are accurate, and do seem like they would be devastating.
Thanks Men.
Have a general archery question. Ramcat broadheads for elk. Dropped Rage due to loosing a buck 2 years ago, long story.
Looking at Ramcats, think they are great, shoot great, are quiet, but the blade angle is pretty aggressive. Would be like hitting them with a cleaver rather than driving a...
Mine has, and will again. first time I introduced her to my family was mule deer hunting, that day we had 3 deer to process. Coming from the city, she outperformed my sisters/brother in law. 3 kids later our lives our busy, and different, but we’re getting back to it. Bought her a beautiful...
