It is truly an addiction. I started with a caribou hunt about 10 years ago and have since been up on 5 moose hunts. Got a couple caribou that first trip but it took me 5 try’s to finally catch a moose. Going back for moose next year and then Kodiak deer in 2024.

Flying home from Bethel this year, my buddy got his checked in right when they opened and was told that was the one and only for that flight. They were split and wrapped. Don’t know what happened beyond that.

Your assumed Renfro numbers are more than double what I was told this year when I asked that question directly. That included guided and unguided parties.

It’s been a few years but we got sent back from Canadian customs to the us station at the Alaska border to fill out the USFWS form. There was road construction in between and it cost us a couple hours.
At the US border returning from Canada, they told us that we should stop at the US station...
Different critters, different habitats, different hunts as my Alaska friends told me years ago when I asked this same question. Probably some guided hunts that do this but I suspect they substantially exceed your budget.
