Thanks! Yeah, while heās not a monster Iām still really happy with him. Iām just in awe of these animals and it was a cool though occasionally frustrating experience.Congrats, any Shiras is a trophy, bonus when it's a good bull! Hard tag to come by, that's an accomplishment!
Right?! The number of guys who said ābut I see those dumb things all the time on my elk hunts/dirt biking/etcā was kind of nauseating. It can be a lot tougher hunt than most folks think. Nice work on that bull.

Congrats! I hate typoO gays! I was in SE Idaho a few weeks back on a deer hunt and saw quite a few moose. Theyāre beautiful animals. Maybe one day I can get a tag!
Yeah I veered away from the more densely populated units since it is so hard to draw in diamond or Tex creek it seems likeCongrats! Not sure what SE zone you were in but, I've seen moose every year I hunted in a popular SE zone. Never a tag of course!
Thanks! Yah I was struck by how beautiful his coat isO gays! I was in SE Idaho a few weeks back on a deer hunt and saw quite a few moose. Theyāre beautiful animals. Maybe one day I can get a tag!

Thanks brother!Congrats on both the elk and moose!!
Haha, seriously. Not there when you need āem!Congrats! I just filled my moose tag last weekend in a unit very close to yours. Definitely a lot tougher to find the moose when you are hunting them. If I was deer or elk hunting they would be in the middle of the road.
Took about 20ish days in the field but was able to bag an OTC elk in this zone then 9 days later got this moose at 20 yards .
He (followed by two smaller bulls) responded to my half-assed cow call. Packout wasnāt too terrible-a mile to the trailhead.
