I bought these early last winter. I was told by several Cabela's / Bass Pro employees they were to be discontinued so I took what I could find. Best 60a blades?
I've had the 70A blades in the Amazon wishlist for going on a long while now... I'll probably stick with the 60As as they've been problem-free for me so far. I believe I ordered extra blades when I originally purchased my Havalon, I haven't burned through all of them yet to have to source... -

Carter like Mike vs RX1
I have an RX1 with the heavy spring, the only one I've ever owned so I can't really help. I really like it and I'm way more accurate with it than my thumb releases which I thought I preferred. Yup, alpine toe (but I like Christmas toe better). I get it with stiff boots on my left big toe, goes away after a while -

I have the FHF short lanyard, real happy with it. Of course there are many more spartan methods for accomplishing the same thing. I do like that it is elastic, keeps it out of the way without too much tension to use it. -
