Most say fusion has 70-80% weight retention. So you’re getting shedding and fragmentation with 20-30%. Terminal ascent is like 95% retention so it just mushrooms and passes through.
Also I have a 20.5” 6.5prc with ab raptor 8 stack. Box says 2975. I got 2835. It’s plenty fast but a little disappointed in velocity. Was looking more for 2875. But they might have used a 26” when obtaining that 2975 and Blaser barrels aren’t known for being fast
I’m exactly the opposite. I have always shot the fusion and last season switched to terminal ascent. They shot great but just so so terminal performance. All killed but through and through with small exit holes and 3 of the 4 animals ran some distance.
I’ve switched back to tipped fusion for...
Yeah. It is best value out there.
I have the dxp50 duo pulsar also. And the day camera on the pard is way better. The lrf is nice to have too.
Got mine for under 3k. If they were same price I would go with pulsar. But at 1500 less it’s a great value.
I have five or six of the Mesa shirts. They are awesome. I wear them all the time daily and hunting. They’re very thin and vented. I live in Alabama and they are my go to summer shirt.
The Tiburon is a thicker shirt.
poncho make some nice snap shirts also that I wear a good bit.
remember, you’re the one that threw out a theoretical conversation with one because you “think” you would know what he says.
I don’t have a dog in the fight. But anyone that would compare an arrow to any reasonable rifle cartridge would be ignorant, IMO of course.
