    I agree here with husky on the porting...did it one time and regretted it. Mind you my two biggest rifles are a 325WSM and a 375 H&H, neither of which are ported. Anyhow, the 300 I ported a few years ago got more safe time than field time.

    Not to steal the thread Snyd but had a similar experience a few nights ago. The smaller of the two had me treed with my longbow and a 10mm. Not very good photos and my phone went dead before they got under me...can't wait for 20A griz over bait next spring!
