    How far is too far?

    In that country, it should not be to hard to find a shady North slope to hang the meat in; it should be good for a couple days, even in September. Get some decent game bags to keep the flies out.

    I've had it get down to 10, but would say mid 20's is average. Watch the forecast and you should be good with a quality 3 season tent and a quality 15 degree bag & pad.

    Do you have the 1205x or the t-025x? Cause the cheapest I've been able to find the 1205x is $275 w/o a head.

    Anyone have a chance to compare these two? Sirui is lighter and claims to support more weight, although Promaster has 9 layers vs Siriu's 8 layer. Price is very similar.

    Stone glacier vs Exo mountain

    I have the SG sky 5100 and really like it except for the lack of pockets; I sewed a kifaru medium pocket on myself which is all I needed. If you like more pockets/options for organization go with the Exo. Can't go wrong with either pack.

    Speaking from experience, get some time in the field. NV is tough to draw for a Nonresident and expensive to buy a non refundable license. I would suggest an over the counter hunt in South Central Idaho or Region H Special tag in Wyoming if you want to hunt this year.

    Carbon vs Aluminam Tripod Question

    What other advantages does carbon fiber has over aluminum besides the small weight savings? Just thinking that it's not worth $150 - 200 extra to save a couple ounces if all else is equal. Was looking at the Promaster 525's speciffically - Thanks.

    Wyoming general season f&r

    105 & 106 would probably not be what your looking for. Most of the bucks are in or near the park during October and also has a healthy grizzly population. The units in the bighorns generally have better access and would be day huntable.
