    Dog injury question

Our 4 year old boxer started limping on a hind leg last fall after he would run hard. Bottom line, he had torn a tendon in his knee (like our ACL), and it had to be surgically repaired. He was on restrictions for 12 weeks but he is good as new now. It was expensive but necessary.

    Garage door opener issue

MIne at the shop I built started acting up after 3 years. I ended up having a technician come to my cabin twice and they finally found a small plastic gear that had sheared off in the housing; they replaced it and it has worked fine. Point is, sometimes you need a pro to look into these things.

    Crazy Big Game Draw Stories

I drew an Idaho mountain goat tag the second time I applied, and a Shiras moose tag the first time I applied. That was it, because I am 0-21 on bighorn sheep. I did draw a controlled turkey tag this year for the 4th season in a row; roughly 25% odds.

Mine is 5'x8'x10', 2x6 insulated walls and ceiling, concrete floor with a drain. I installed 2 - 1 1/2" pipes to hang meat, and put in a spigot to rinse the floor. I built some shelves in one corner. On the warmest days (85 degrees), I can keep it at 38-40 degrees. One trick is to hang the...

    Central Idaho Grizzly Restoration

I want to know why the Golden Bear state isn't getting in on this restoration project? Kalifornistan could use a few dozen of these critters.

They may have abided by all the game laws without realizing the outfitter/guide took them into an area he wasn't authorized to use.

    colorado cow moose

You guys better enjoy it while you can. Idaho used to allow hunters to draw for a bull and a cow hunt, both once in a lifetime. Cow hunts were available throughout the state. Now, thanks to the wolves that were introduced from Canada, we have no more cow hunts, and bull hunts are more limited.

Totally predictable. I told my wife a week ago it would be won by some Mahomes pass play at the end of the game. Now Travis and Taylor can go to the White House and publicly express their support for the senile one......

    Bacon Grease

Fry potatoes in it. My grandmother used it in many dishes. I remember her putting a tablespoon of it in her home grown green beans for flavoring.

Solar Arrays on Idaho Big Game Habitat?

The same Government that wants to list sage grouse as endangered due to habitat loss, wants to use a million acres of federal land for a solar array. Management by politics once again.
