AZ checking in here. After the ban we've been seeing less cameras, but there are still a bunch out there. Some habits take a while to change. AZ G&F seems to be picking them up when they find them too.
Our group had 2 elk taken in '21 and both were 50 yards and in, so the shots were quick. Not much time to setup with walking and stalking. '22 was a bust with no shots fired, weather and area just didn't have the critters due during that season.
Coder and programmer are the same or close enough to ignore the nuance.
30+ years in this field for me, and while I agree that there are cost advantages with offshore labor like any field that can be outsourced, there are also some major challenges to the success of entirely offshoring...

Figured I'd share with you the latest cat news.
We are out here camping 2 miles away from where this happened over the weekend.
There are a lot of cats in Arizona, but it only takes one to make for a really bad day for a person.
We've pulled tags the last two years but the ridiculous luck has run out and no tags this year. Looking forward to the other draws, small game and fishing this year. Good luck to all those that did get pulled this year!
The Lifelock service is good from the perspective that when something happens you can mostly go to one place for help to navigate through the process. Depending on the issue you may have to be your own advocate, example is erroneous charges on your credit cards, stolen wallet, etc.
Here's our two current pooches. Both are equally comfortable snuggling on the couch or as partners exploring the wonderful outdoors. Hopper is a 14year old rescue, 100% mutt. Argos is pure (fur missile) Dutch Shepherd, two years old.
We've spent a lot of time up there. It's great for hikes, lots of elevation changes, plenty of opportunity to see Coues and Elk. Strawberry and Pine are nice little places to stop at if near the road. Try the Pie Bar in Strawberry for empanadas. Payson is the larger civilization for anything...
So the Cocaine Bear movie wasn't inspired by the real Cocaine Cat.
Interesting how common the exotics are in the US. Also sad to see how common it is they are exposed to illegal drugs that the agencies test them as normal course of action.

Lots of names out there but Victron is what we went with and it's been great. Also you can add components as you need or want.
EDIT: Sorry skipped the battery section. Lots of options and all depends on budget. Lithium is great but more $$$. Discover batteries have been solid for us.
Another vote for a Silky saw in the woods. Very effective on bones, branches or smaller logs. Nice and small, even for a backpack. I have and use heavier tools when available at home or near a vehicle.
I've also owned the Harbor Freight jack for around 8 years and it works great for everything. Was able to get it under a car with hydraulic suspension that failed, which made it a low rider until fixed.
There are more variables to consider such as units you are applying for as some have significant point requirements. If you are trying to hunt for elk, you can go with cow tags for example. Less points required and you get to go. Or move to a target state and get into a higher percentage draw...
Completely agreed. Multiple paths to wealth but having others working for you seems to work frequently. Buddy owns a welding shop and service company and makes a very comfortable living. Seems similar to other trades job though where he is always on the lookout for good welders that show up to...
Take this for what it is worth but all the really big boats at the boat marina are owned by construction guys, plumbers, hvac, electricians, linemen, etc. Less doctors, lawyers, and the like than you'd think.
They may just be more willing to accept debt, but doesn't look that way.
Agreed that most standard toy haulers are not very capable, especially the ones built with commodity components. There are some better grades that can. I don't have one, but ATC trailers is one example.
A lot depends on your planned use and areas that you plan to hunt, and if you will use the vehicle besides just for hunting. The 5th wheel and 1 ton get a lot of use for us, and we're fine taking it out on public land for dispersed camping as far as we're willing to take the 5er. That truck...
