My 243 With H4831sc and 100gr Hornady Interloc.
Loaded 3 rounds at Max45.5-46.0-46.5.
Slight swipe on the 45.5. Going to drop .5 and load 10 and shoot and see what I get.
On an out of state hunt ill bring a Doz that are fully rigged with BH already on them ready to go.
I only carry what's in the quiver, so I leave the rest at the truck or camp if they are needed.
I would have zero problems sitting in a saddle in that tree.
A bit skylined to a point but would not sway me from hunting it at all.
I have found that the saddle works in a lot of places that a normal lock on does not.
Hunted one tree last year on a field edge that was probably at best 8" in...

Had that wrong as well. What I have is 120gr V-Max bullets.
I guess I had SST stuck in my head as that is what the factory rounds we have for her rifle are.
So my wife is a newer hunter and i got her a 7mm-08 she really likes. With her being a newer hunter she is a bit recoil sensitive.
She shoots Hornady Custom Lite low Recoil rounds that use a 120gr SST. And the rifle shoots them well
