    He has no problem with killing anything. I should've added we have rabbit hunted in Nevada, and he has done dove and duck hunts before. I will certainly talk to him about it more and see if he is hesitant to actually killing something but he has hunted before just never big game. That's my bad...

    Thanks a lot of people say the gold tips are also great and I wouldn’t mind shooting a heavier arrow but I live out west and get to hunt elk every year and almost everyone I know shoots below 550 grains but I’ll tinker around with some heavier arrows as well!
