At least the hunting pressure won't increase over time like the surrounding units that are still OTC archery. As long as you apply in the 1st draw period you should get a tag (for now) They still ranout of leftover tags fast last year.

They give out as many limited licenses as there were OTC hunters in many cases. There are also still OTC 2nd and 3rd rifle. I wouldnt expect too much to visibly change. I'm not sure what the population objectives are for each unit, that may vary.

They are only federally designated wilderness areas. There is a onx layer, you may have to pull it from the layer library to your library
They are all shown on the wgfd interactive hunt map also.
Also just Google WY wilderness areas kmz and you can find a Google earth file or maps

So tags 5 points and over get offered to the next 5 people in line, who would need to use points if they accept, correct? Does anyone know if these tags we are seeing on the preview list have already been offered to the next in line and turned down or just turned back in?

They could also in theory raise the price of the tags to price out a lot of NR from coming every year. It would maybe be a one in a lifetime thing. Therefore making the same $ but reducing hunting pressure. At my salary I don't mind spending $700 on a tag right now (still way cheaper than...
Seems like most people that were sent back to the que at 9:00 after the residency page tried to log in exactly at 8:00. They said the system was suppose to reset AT 8:00am, I wonder if it didn't finish resetting until a few seconds later, so everyone who thought they were first in the door were...
I thought it went fairly smoothly. Got the running man starting at ~8:02. Was logged in within 15-20 min. Pressed proceed at 9:00:05. My buddy was a few minutes behind but got logged in just before 9. We both got our archery elk tags. There were 63 tags available and all gone by 905.

Only things I can think of to try: Try double or triple layer reeds, deepen your voice when you add it, play with reed position in mouth (more front or back slightly). Make sure your breath coming out is from diaphragm. Play with breath intensity.
When I started I just had a terminator tube...
I'd say no but I'm an n=1. I usually go through a pair of boots every 1-1.5 years because I wear them for work everyday. I have several pairs of various boots I rotate now. But I have a pair of salmons got in 2015 that I still wear sometimes. I've put a ton of miles on those but they are still...
I'd rather them limit tags than raise the price to a point where only people that make a sizable income can responsibly buy the tag. Hunting should at least be available to anyone despite income. Even if they have to wait. Also I have noticed hunters will spend alot of money they don't have on...
As far as the 2nd choice/leftover draws go in CO. I pretty much include them in my otc conversation. With some of the crowds they might as well be especially in the SW
But I agree, if it's otc or easy to draw. It will be crowded and dont complain. It's better than the alternative = not hunting...
I like this in limited draw units where quality is the objective. Bugs me a little when 1st time elk hunters draw a great unit and shoot a rag horn, but that's also no different than an experienced hunter settles for a lesser bull later in the hunt. But also good for them for getting it done...
I've never used a thermometer. Usually just fork tender. It's hard to overcook after its wrapped up unless the juices/sauce inside dry out. You can add extra sauce or bacon grease in the foil to keep things moist
