Don’t overlook an f150 with the 3.5 eco boost. I have one with the hybrid engine. I like it but wouldn’t do it again.
Ecoboost will tow what you’re looking to easily, get good gas mileage not towing, and the motor has been around long enough they have the bugs worked out.
Had a 2013 tundra...
I got an email fro Alliant that basically said they didn’t get acceptable results with lighter bullets.
Good news is it looks like I’ll be able to return it.
Really with they’d have made the packaging a little more different or named it different. Again, totally my fault, but easy mistake to...
Thanks! It’s interesting that all their 308 data is for heavier bullets. I’m working on 150 grain loads. Comparing the data for the 15 heavier bullets it looks similar.

Thanks. Figured. That’s what I get for being in a hurry. Seems like the data is mostly for heavier bullets. Would there be issues with lighter bullets? Gonna try to return it but doubt they will.

I grabbed this yesterday at the store. I’ve been using reloader 15 (older bottle). Just noticed this has the small 5 next to the 15.
Same thing new label or did I mess up?

Definitely. In fact I’m moving from 168s to 150s to increase velocity and flatten trajectory.
These copper bullets retain nearly all their initial weight. So in a conventional bullet you might start with a 180 grain bullet that sheds weight after initial impact and you’re left with less weight...
I’m not sure. I messed with that once, But realized my magazine is super short and I couldn’t lengthen much at all. Once I found that the shorter loads worked well I kinda gave up on caring about that.

This will be tough to beat. Ever. Spent some time in Montana with my 15 year old daughter and some good friends. There were tears of frustration and joy. There were highs and lows, but nothing like the high of both of us shooting beautiful mule deer bucks within seconds of each other.

I worked up a 150 ttsx load over the weekend and shot it today (47 grn RL15) Great group loaded to Barnes specs at 2.735. [emoji2371]but it works!

Question, in researching loads that might work with my Kimber I saw the ttsx mentioned a lot. I also saw that people tended to load them shorter OAL than standard (2.735 vs2.8 in 308 Winchester). Barnes’ reloading guide says exactly that.
I loaded some up and it’s basically the only load that...
I’ve had good luck with RL 15 and 168 grain ttsx.
If you read the Barnes manual they suggest loading them shorter than standard OAL (think 2.735 vs 2.8). This was the first load that my Kimber would shoot well. Just got some 150s and hoping to find a load with them and Varget that’ll work...
You guys that are bitching on an online forum and pointing fingers at at a guy who’s happy and proud of his success think it’s gonna do anything to change FWP’s tag allocation? No. It’s not. You don’t like it bitch to them. This fighting and telling fellow hunters YOU don’t like what they did...
