Yeah it gives you several different options :)
just base layer
base layer + windshirt
base layer + active mid-layer
base layer + active mid-layer + windshirt
No durability issues w/ either; you can expect some minor piling under the shoulder straps- but it's minor and no way effects performance at all
It's the only to fly IMHO :D
These breathable mid-layers (including the "non-naked ones" like the Ambient) do great on the move, but they offer...
ME workout—1300' in 3/4 mile w/ 40# pack; after the initial climb added 5 more miles looping back to the truck. My legs will be sore (hell they are already a little sore :D)
I've since moved from Leupold & Swaro (based on some of the drop testing done by members of this site) to the Trijicon Accupoint in the 3-9x40—13 oz, available in a few different reticles (mine are both green/mil dot) and by all accounts one the tougher/more reliable lightweight scopes.
@Poser post is worth rereading :); IMHO splits/body parts/etc, if the goal is strength, are no bueno.
I'm only lifting twice a week—I've bastardized Wendlers 5/3/1 by combining bench & squats and deadlifts & overhead press; the only supplemental lifts I'm doing are lunges, pull/chin-ups...
Raises hand; there are definitely enough unknowns that depending solely on your cell phone for travel in remote wilderness areas is not going to happen for me just as it's being released.
At a minimum cell phones aren't nearly as weatherproof, sturdy, nor have as robust antenna or the battery...
