I see issues with grazing in other states as well. The Range Managers with BLM/FS seem to let the ranchers slide for the most part. They are supposed to meet standards set in their grazing permit (stubble height etc), but I don't think it happens often. I think we could see a change relatively...
I believe its a " more tags, less death" strategy by NDOW. Give some folks the opportunity to hunt but not crush what's left on the landscape post-drought
If we continue to get decent winter moisture the next few years ( ive seen projections that say we will west-wide) we should see population as a whole increase.
Other ballistic calculators, apps, etc. Enter the same data (bc, velocity etc) and the br2 was off by a significant margin.
Curious if the new BR2 is the same or if it has updated ballistic solver. Ex- if you plug the info into a Kestrel 5700 and BR2, will it give the same MOA adjustment or at...
How’s everyone’s experience long term?
How’s the performance of the ballistic calculator? I’ve used the br2 in the past and the calculations never lined up
I don’t believe that’s the case. The date of the results is based on approval of permit #s by the wildlife board. Once #s are set they can run the draw.
This is the first year with the new application deadline so I guess we’ll see.
Excited to watch this. We need more content like this out there .. no canned hunts or influencers trying to push “swag”. Just big bucks in the current era on reasonable tags
Looking for anyone’s experience with the BR4. I couldn’t find any post about it so I figured I’d start one.
How does it stack up? Mainly concerned about the internal ballistic calculator. I had a BR2 with decent luck but the internal calculator wouldn’t line up with any other ballistic...
Getting in some wind practice today , this wasn’t my cold bore , just getting some practice in the wind. Going for the small white rock , 4moa wind hold still wasn’t enough. The wind might cause some disappointment in this challenge 😁
