I have a Montana, i even carried it the first year I started OnX on my iPhone.
Have not touched it since. Both lose service in heavy cover. Both matched up my location so close, I didn’t see any point to carrying the Montana.
I test drove a couple 50” machines. I barely fit in either and had my knees hitting the dash. 6’4 and all legs.
The Wolverine was a good choice for me. Quiet, reliable and decent room. My knees only have a couple inches to spare, but it’s a good ride.
6’ of 2” Chimney. Should be easy enough to resolve the length issue, but if it won’t draw properly you are gonna get smoked out. Those tiny vent doors will not help either for a proper draw.

It was very common to use that on 30 and 50 amp circuits.
I never did much residential electrical as an electrician, but the big issue was aluminum wire used on 15 and 20 amp circuits, thus it is not allowed any longer on those.
It is allowed still on the 30/50 amp stuff. If it is properly...
If you were going to play with different releases, now is the time. I’ve tried twice to like a hand held and went back to a wrist.
good god, the Mike 2 is 200 bucks!
I’ve been using the el cheapo Chinese ones for 3 years now….
They just work, unless I hit one. Battery goes about 45 hours. Less than 3 bucks each. I’ve not used the small ID ones. Aren’t they all made in chyna...
