    Any first-hand insight on the newer 8/10x40 GPO Rangeguides, specifically in regards to the optical quality? The weight specification makes them an attractive choice… but only if there isn’t a significant compromise in optical quality as compared to the Geovid R’s.

    I emailed their customer service a few months ago asking about using the Noah with hotter 6mm cartridges. In short, they recommend the JL for anything 2800-3300 fps (JL’s max). To avoid derailing this thread, PM me if you want a screenshot of their email response.

    This lug appears to not be fully seated. Starting with the lug this far out during assembly is a good thing.     Savage 110 Ultralight Sale at Bass Pro/Cabelas

    My ultralite does not eject with the authority of other actions, but it has been reliable. I’m sure you’ve been down this road for the older 110, but some have improved ejection performance by switching out the ball bearing under the extractor for a different size.
