I guess it depends on the buyer. The Echo looks nice but is a pound heavier and doesn’t offer the feature set that the rokstok was designed for. Seems like an entirely different category all together
I’ve got a 90lb mutt that blew out each of his ACL’s (or whatever they are for a dog) a year apart when he was 5 and 6 while running around in the yard. First time was a mole hill, the second was due to the extra stress incurred on the ligament during recovery on the first. Surgery was expensive...
Going through the same right now and have been eyeing the new Impact 737’s with 75 degree throw or a Terminus. But not sure that either is worth the additional $700 over an Aero Solus, not having handled any of the 3.
Mine did not like the tgk. I didn’t do a lot of experimentation with it but the 180 hybrid was much more accurate. 18” barrel.
I didn’t stand on H1000 but at 67gr I was at 2620 in my 18” barrel. Accuracy was great. I’ve got a full case of N570 and was averaging 2855 last trip out. Accuracy...
I’ve killed a bunch with the Kent fast steel and Remington nitro steel. Not sure if either performed better than the other but both kill ducks and functioned fine in my wife’s Affinity.
Also, that grt screenshot is at 2.8 coal which is showing 108% load ratio. What does it say when you punch it in at 2.9 coal? I’m not at my computer or I’d plug it in.
Not saying you’re wrong about the high pressure based on the velocities but GRT doesn’t have great calibration on Staball 6.5. Hodgdon lists 59,000 for 47.8gr
This is what I did for my first shotgun when I turned 18 and it’s smooth as butter. Found a used 1981 model in great shape and absolutely love it. Gave $350 for it
I don't own either but between those two I would go can am
I’ve heard of more than one Polaris spontaneously catching fire. One did it while sitting on a trailer, the other did it while driving. Not sure what caused the one on the trailer to do it but the one driving started in the fuse box...
I’ve done some loading with it. Speeds were pretty good.
Here is a link to a thread I did on it.
I’ve also done some work with the 168 vld-h and had them moving 2720 with good accuracy.
