100% agree! I have been using them in my 7SAUM for multiple mule deer in the last few years and they got the job done quick at varying distances.

And nice buck!

Good to hear! And thank you!

We need a report on the Nimrod stock.
It's legit for sure. Palm swell is a little unnecessarily large, but still plenty comfortable and easy to shoot.

Looks like the bullet worked but damn that seems destructive at those velocities
Yeah it's violent. Which is what I prefer. I honestly don't try to hit in the shoulder, because it does ruin a majority of the meat. It was super windy and it kept switching directions slightly, so I just held in the pocket, knowing it'd land in the vitals somewhere at that distance, and the bullet pushed into the shoulder.

Better to lose a shoulder than a deer. Great buck and good shooting

What is your twist rate. I'm thinking of having a 7 RUM built and have a 9 twist Proof. Thinking that with that much speed a 9 twist will stabilize the 180 ELD-M's .

1-9 twist on my rifle. Give up a little BC bringing it down to a .38 G7

Sure, but a dinky little buck like that isn't really a test of a bullet. Could have killed him with a 22-250 probably.
Haha I was trying to find a bigger one, but had to settle for this one. 80 ELDM would have killed him, but 180 ELDM killed him more deader. Which is what I’m after lol.
Killed my bull this year with a 180 ELDM...250 yard shot, quartering frontal, hit him in the brisket, no blood trail and ran less than 50 yards.

Excellent! Yeah I wouldn’t expect any blood, but I also wouldn’t expect them to go far with a quartering too frontal. Good info!

Haha, he is a great buck! I would "settle" for that guy any day. I'd have no qualms about killing him with a 77TMK, 80/88 or 108 ELDM or similar.

Well done, dude. Your posts are probably the ones that I have to fight feelings of envy on most consistently of anyone on this forum!
