If you ordered from Betram they should be getting stock very soon. If not, we have them in stock as well. https://hawkinsprecision.com/product/long-range-hybrid-rings/
When you're ready, let us know about rings, muzzle brake and bottom metal if you end up needing it. Our Long Range Hybrids are made for lightweight hunting, and the Ultra Light Tactical line is not much more in weight, but you will need a Pic rail. Our muzzle brakes are made to be effective and...
Can't speak for anyone else, but ours are made from extremely hard 17-4 stainless steel and then coated. They should last a very long time and take all the abuse you can throw at them.
Check our new self timing Tank ST Muzzle Brake. Not as aggressive on concussion and really easy to install. We had one out at the range taking it on and off with no POI as long as the locking collar is set and you're torquing it down to the same spec every time.
We obviously like our new Tank ST. I will say that the first version is .990" diameter. So it might be larger than you're wanting. However it works great and doesn't hit you with as much concussion.
If anyone needs help with ring height or selection let me know.
The Long Range Hybrids are direct mount, very solid (we've run them on 300RUM, etc.) and the Ultra-Light Tactical line is a good solution for if you'd like to run a pic rail. I have some weights below too. Normally a SA aluminium...
Yes sir. You time it, lock down the screws and torque it down. Then you can take it on and off with a hex key. We will be doing some POI shift videos with a can once our local range reopens too.
Here's a video about it.
The 3/8 hex bit slot up front is real handy for installing it too. The flat top has a lot of good uses too.
We really prefer less concussion. You can see some makers of brakes have gone that model as well. Good part is there's lots of options. Thanks for choosing Hawkins Precision!
Just weighed two
6mm - 3.8oz,
6.5 - 3.744oz
2.5860" OAL. That will be the same for all of them.
I'll get some other weights when possible. Some of the staff is working from home now.
We do make our own followers but not not springs, but the MBE-2 does come in a kit. https://wyattsoutdoor.com/product/mbe-2-kit/ That's a good option too.
If you'd like a Hawkins follower shoot me a message and we can get you set up. That's not something that's on the website.
For the really short scopes we run a pic rail and Long Range Hybrids. Normally only adds a few ounces to the total rifle system depending on the rail. If that works for your application.
Hawkins Precision just launched a new self-timing muzzle brake called the Tank ST. It's a straight port, design that I think shooters looking for brakes that aren't super loud will enjoy this brake. It will also time on the barrel the same way every time via the locking collar. If you torque it...
Good friend of ours at Rocky Mountain Ranches has taken some mule deer and pronghorn with the 90 grain gamechanger/tipped gamekings out of a 6x47. They really hammer game.
If anyone has questions about Hawkins Precision rings, just shoot us a message. We do not make 1-inch rings anymore though.
30, 34, & 35mm we have covered.
