Looking at picking up a brake for my 280ai bergara. Due to the moderate size barrel contour (#5) I don’t want a huge brake but am considering the following:

Hawkins tank (new self timed version)
419 hellfire/sidewinder
The made/sold by Bergara

Thoughts? Any others I should look at?

Really happy with my Muzzle Brakes and More. Self timing options, some available in titanium if shaving ounces is your thing.

Check out the Patriot Valley Backcountry brake, it's a smaller version of their jetblast. I've got one on a LAW 300 win mag and it's a pleasure to shoot.

do you know the diameter of that? I can’t find it on their site. Looks like a dandy though

We obviously like our new Tank ST. I will say that the first version is .990" diameter. So it might be larger than you're wanting. However it works great and doesn't hit you with as much concussion.
