For midrange I tend to use the 150 gr nosler ballistic tips, excellent deer round but a bit lacking in the BC department. For extended range I use the 168 berger VLDs and 162 Amax.
I may work up a load with the 162 ELDm at some point as I'm about out of the old Amax stash.
6mm CM, 103 ELDx, impact velocity was 2735 fps. Mature buck for around here, 170 lbs.
Quartering toward me, hit the crease, straight down, no drama. Bullet traveled through the spine and lodged in the offside rib cage, just under the skin.

Hawkins featherwieghts and Talleys are avaialble, although I haven't tried them on my origin. They are listed as compatible with the Savage 110/Stiller pattern on Hawkins info, see below:
Savage 110/Stiller Pattern
Will fit these rifles and actions:
Stiller TAC and Predator Actions

147 ELDm data point. Mature doe for here, about 110 lbs. Quartering toward me, clipped the back of the shoulder, took out the spine, and had a good exit through the ribs. Straight down, no drama.
Impact velocity was 2530 fps, exit pics below:
Sorted some "new" primers. My buddy, who doesn't reload, gave me an old stash his dad had way back when. They were stored well and would probably go "bang". If nothing else, the old packaging is cool.
I wish a brick was still around $8.00, dang.
Broke in the 6mm CM yesterday evening. Doe cull on a bean field. Shots were from 325-485. 7 does and one cull buck were killed. 2 were shot with a friends 7 mag. 6 were shot with the 6mm. 4 with the 103 ELDx and 2 with the 108 ELDm.
I didn't have time to do any autopsy pics but no deer...
Annelaing the brass and changing nothing else (i.e. bushing, mandrel, sizer, etc.) can certainly have an effect on neck tension. Different neck tension can have an effect on pressure, albiet its usually minimal. But if you are close to max already, it could become an issue.
Not saying it is...
Unfortunately, I have no experience with that bullet. I have a .223 Wylde built on an AR platform, so I'm limited on coal as well. I've only tried the 68 BTHP version, great accuracy though, so if the 75 works with your coal and twist, I'd try it. I have not used it on game though, just...
I saved the info Form posted to my load data sheet for quick access, the info is below:
2.26” coal compatible and generally available:
77gr TMK
69gr TMK (sufficient, but less penetration)
73gr ELD-M (sufficient but TC isn’t as long)
77gr Berger OTM (higher upset velocity required)
85gr Barnes...
I worked up a good load with the 110 Hammer Hunter for my 18" 6.5 CM.
44 grains of Varget (it was a stout load so work up)
Lapua brass
CCI-450
3175 fps.
Killed a few pigs with it, no problems. If I were somewhere I had to use lead-free, I'd roll with it or the LRX. But I prefer the ELDm and...
I just taped it off and used several layers of the Rustoluem textured spray paint. Went back over it with flat black. It seems pretty robust, I don't expect any problems. Feels great too, big improvement.
Bighorn Origin, 6.5 CM in a VG2. I got it a few months back and so far I really enjoy shooting with it. I opened up the ejection port, added a bit of paint and it was gtg. I did end up adding some texture to the grip and forend a few weeks ago, as the plain carbon finish is fairly slick.
Sounds like clickers on Peterson .284 brass if not uncommon. There are a few threads on this subject at accurate shooter.

Small base die may help, or trying a different brand of brass (easier said than done I know). I'm...
