    Critique my Gear List

Are you packing in ? How far? Some stuff you have might be duplicates and can be eliminated. An example you are carrying the duct tape you can do the same with the Leukotape.Ditch the duct Tape. Saw you don't need one at the camp even for 10 days. Why do you need all these 3L platypus, msr...

I just keep it simple with a 5 pin fixed sight.Really don't see the need to make a shot over 60yds with my bow.

beating a dead horse.... binocular harness

I have been using a Sitka Bino Bivey for a while and really like it. It is small and compact. 10x42s fit perfect but I believe 50s would be a no go.When you first get it the zippers are tight but after a little loose they are very easy to zip and unzip. I don't use the harness I have it attached...

    Rowing

Rowing is great and have been doing it a while. I just try to keep 2minute 500s during the 2000m row. I now alternate between rowing and Jacob's Ladder. Jacob's ladder is a butt kicker!!

    Solo elk hunt this year!!!

I have packed out my share solo and it is no joke especially during bow season. I always have a plan for getting the meat out as fast and as efficient as possible. I have never lost any meat. Know what you need to do ahead of time. My wife hated me going solo mainly because I always pack in for...

    kuiu no forum for you

Yes but when you go to select the stays when purchasing they are listed as composite. The same with the bikini frame. Carbon fiber is normally used in composite form.

Just let the meat cool the before you pack it in the meat bags. Once cooled you will be good to go for the trek out.

I just got the camera a few weeks ago. I was looking for something lighter than my Canon HV40. This camera is a Sony cybershot dsc-rx100 III. It is 3 pounds lighter than the Canon with the camera,sd cards, batteries, and case. It does great video too. Just starting to learn all the functions of...

I never leave Home without my Swarovski SLC 10X42s. I bought them for my first elk hunt back in the 1980s. I finally broke down and sent them back to Swarovski the year before last for a refirb job. They totally looked like crap. I got a call from them a few days after I sent them and told me...
