Been using a Spot for the past three years on my hunts. Works very well and all messages have made it through just fine. Don't really need to talk with anyone!!
String strands can beak anywhere under the serving and you would not know. Might be time for a new string set. I change mine every two years. I shoot quite a bit. Might want to remove the strings and check everything cams bearings etc. Now is the time to do it.
Here is a pic of the bags I will be using this year to pack line my DT1 if needed. They are 36"x 20" and 6mil in thickness plenty of height to double over the top and secure the top with a small zip tie or a piece of 550 cord. Two full tall and narrow Kifaru meat bags like above will fit in one...
I use my phone when here locally it has a cricket sound I downloaded. Where I don't have a signal which is most places I just use my gps it has a alarm that is louder..
I sent my 25 year old 10x42s back to them a few years ago. They totally refurbished them for around $125.00 if I remember correctly. When I got them back everything was new from the glass to the outside armor. They looked like they were band new right off the shelf. Great service dept to work...
Which meat bag they make different ones both very different. I use the tall narrow bags. And just place the vertically in the pack and compress them in place.

I agree but disagree. The paddle is above the trigger. And when I draw no matter what holster I use my trigger finger is in the exact same place as the paddle which is above the trigger. The trigger finger runs down the holster as I draw my weapon. Been using one for years and have never came...
Sorry I just saw your post. Here are a few pics. right now I have the paddle holster with the strap mounted on a belt platform. The strap is nylon. The nylon has a little stretch and fits pretty tight. You just pop the snap as you release the paddle lock on the holster. Works very good and not...
Brad no I only carry a small one pint bottle with 1oz dry citric acid already in the bottle and 1oz in a small poly-bag. I think my wife got the 1pt spray bottle in a haircare section of some store.
When I carry which is not that often I use a BlackHawk Serpa CQC Belt Loop and Paddle Holster with the BlackHawk Serpa S.T.R.I.K.E. CQC Platform. I have had a extra thumb release strap put on it to keep the gun from accidentally getting knocked out.
After you hang or de-bone your meat and lay it out you mix 1oz of the citric acid with one pint of water. You then you spray the meat with with the mix. The spray keeps bacteria from forming, speeds up the meat getting a skin on it, and keeps the bug off. Good stuff been using it for years. 2ozs...
