Hauling meat with a DT1

I saw a kifaru video a while back where Aron was saying the best way was to let out the compression straps between the pack and duplex frame, then put the neat bag between them. I was looking at a video earlier of the dt1 and it shows it attaching at the top with a hypalon sleeve. Has the dt1 been changed to allow you to compress meat between the pack and frame?

I just put the meat in the pack and compress it. Put it mid pack and don't let it settle to the bottom of pack.

If I remember correctly, Aron is not a fan of the "load shelf" concept of placing the meat between the frame and the pack. That being said I seem to remember him saying in one of the videos that it is possible with the DT1, just don't remember where/how.

The DT1 can be setup to carry meat between the bag and frame. It's really designed to carry the meat inside though, and I feel that is by far the best method with this bag.
