Swarovski Barrel Hinge loose?
Last I heard Swarovski was swamped with repairs and longer than 6-8 weeks repair time. It’s possible you could ask them to expedite the repairs because of your Sept hunt. -

Best spotting scope under 1000
In reality I use my 15x on a tripod way more than my spotter. Now if I’m looking for sheep my Swarovski ATS 80 is truly needed for trophy definition after finding with the 15x -

Depends on how you use a spotter too. Are you looking to see if it’s a mature animal or is it record book class. High end optics definitely see the small details better. I have Swarovski and Vortex Razor spotters and to be honest after 40x there’s no comparison at all, it’s Swarovski hands down... -
