Swarovski Barrel Hinge loose?

I have a pair of Swaro NL Pure 10x42. Bought new about 6 months ago. Installed the Outdoorsman's Stud and have used them for scouting. Recently, the hinge just seems to have quit working. It won't retain the eye width when I'm using them one handed or on a tripod. Is there an easy fix? Called Outdoorsman's and they seemed a little befuddled and now I'm left thinking they'll need sent in. When talking to a Swaro rep today, he wasn't sure about the issue but seemed to think the stud was the problem.

Any insight? If I send them in, will I have them for September Elk?

Last I heard Swarovski was swamped with repairs and longer than 6-8 weeks repair time. It’s possible you could ask them to expedite the repairs because of your Sept hunt.
