    seems like a looser than wanted fit. On my 22gt prefit from patriot valley arms my bolt closed on the go but not on the go with tape even with heavy force.

    no each one is diffrent but you should be able to get somewhere between 1-2 lbs and be perfectly safe ive been able to set all 3 of mine to 1.5 lbs with no issue.

    with the after market springs you can get it low enough to be not drop safe but just keep screwing it in until it is drop safe it will still be lighter than the factory spring.

    Very nice setup. Dosent look like a ctr though. Barrel profile looks too thin and the bolt isnt nitrided like a ctr is supposed to.

    yes that is all that needs to be done. but depending on what weight bullet you will be shooting, you will be limiting yourself. if you are looking at shooting heavy 7mm bullets fast you might be better off looking at 284 winchester

    Tikka threading

    since its a 243 why not just stick with 1/2x28. im having my tikka in 7-08 cut to 19 in order to thread 9/16x24. at 19 inches the barrel measures .660 so unless you are willing to cut down to 16 inches you wont get a 5/8x24 thread that has enough shoulder to be useable.
