    .243 deer bullet choice

it’s strange everyone loves the 77 tmk 223 most don’t like the 95 sst out of a 243 because of meat loss I’ve noticed. But out of a lot of deer shot with the sst between me and my family and the six I seen shot with the 77 tmk this year the damage seems almost identical between the two.

    .243 deer bullet choice

Why stay away from the sst? I’m a pretty big fan of them myself. Are you trying to minimize meat loss?

    Southern defense reviews?

Has anyone used these guys in the past? Seems legit but they have some really good prices. Thinking it may be too good to be true.

    300 blackout subs for deer?

I just got a suppressor and I got to thinking, are there any subsonic 300 blackout ammo that would be viable for deer under 70 yards? In my woods 70 is a long shot. I have access to further shooting but I can’t help but think that a subsonic suppressed rifle with a bullet that would expand at...

    ELD-X & ELD-M

Would the 90 eldx be a good choice for a 243 for bigger game than deer? People seem to give similar reports with the eldx as the eldm in larger calibers.

.223 for bear, mountain goat, deer, elk, and moose.

I’ve got a buddy who’s the same first a 243 wasn’t enough then the 223 wasn’t enough then it may work on a little hill deer at 150 but definitely not on anything bigger or any farther away. lol. His 308 and 270 just have so much more stopping power!

Looking for good cartridge and budget rifle for 14 y/o

idk what’s available locally for you and what cartridges you’ve currently ruled out for other reasons but I’d say ruger american in 243 or 6 creed or 6.5 creed or even something in 6 arc would work based on what I’ve read on here. Eldms are fantastic that’s based on personal use that I decided...
