Not speaking for him but pretty common to see guys scuba diving oil rigs way out in the gulf out of Florida and Louisiana.

I usually set my smoker to 200 and cook until I hit 115 internal temp while brushing garlic butter over the top. Then reverse sear on either a black stone or a good quality cast iron skillet with the rest of the garlic butter and some rosemary until I get a good color. Let it rest under tented...
If you have no use for a tent after this trip, you can borrow my two person back packing tent. Pick it up on your way through grand junction from Gunnison and drop it off on your way back.
Thanks for the info thats good to know. Your last part is exactly what im looking for. Im already sitting down glassing in tall sage or brush etc.. and need to make a stable shot. I have no intentions of standing and shooting off a tripod so i dont need a beast.
Right now I have the Tricer AD...
I agree however im just at the point I want something that works well for glassing but servicable for shooting off of, as Ill spend 90% of my time glassing. Im not the guy shooting NRL matches who needs a rock steady setup.
Problem is all im finding are things that end up being junk for both...
While we are talking about these garbage pellet smokers…. 😏
While the recteq does get to 700+ degrees by itself, you can fit the GMG pizza attachment in most of the newer recteqs with no modifications
I got 1100 degrees one time on accident based on my Amazon thermo gun.
I have not had any fitment issues with my onglass with several different optics. Based on the other issues hes had with several other options im going to go user error.
