I have run 6 Dashers run in PRS with 105 Hybrids at 2850 to 2950 feet per second in 26 inch barrels. I tend to pull mine at 2400 rounds (still shooting 1/2 inch 5 shot groups) and plan to use them
off season" for practice. As other pointed out, rule of thumb is subtract 25 fps per inch of...
Tikka T3/T3x and Savage Axis long action calibers in our chassis you must use the 3.560" option
From the XLR page they state must be the 3.560 and seems like only steel mag meets that requirement
The Army has a tactical term "occupy by force" as a technique for seizing/gaining control of key terrain. I suggest that the Army has already occupied this strip of land. Securing the Southern border is effective right now - big issue now is deportation of millions.
Sure, as you pointed out previously, environmental issues such as "endangered" critters are inconvenient. Nothing that would restrict a DoD facility from keeping out trespassers.
I run a Leofoto inverted tripod for PRS - spotting and rear tripod. I ran into an issue at a NRL Hunter event where I had to engage through a "tunnel" in trees and needed less height than the 2 section could manage - burned a lot of time splaying legs out. 2 section perfect so far for PRS.
Posse Comitatus Act does not apply to base security. That strip is now considered US DoD land. We have DoD facilities all over US soil with "no trespassing" - ever see a successful Posse Comitatus Act challenge?
This has nothing to do with legal immigration. This is an "invasion" designed to destroy our nation by using our own Democracy/Constitutional Republic against us. Half+ of Congress does not want to fix as they are in on it.
I shoot PRS a lot more than I hunt but I spend a lot of time behind glass watching for impacts from 400 to 1100+. I have great service from Bushnell 15x56 binoculars and a Vortex 15x50 monocular (use it for its mil reticle to measure targets - no longer in production). I see much more 15x binos...
1) USA Today article - Army "seizes" border land. Provocative and hardly a "neutral" source.
2) The land in question is Federal property - one government agency transferred responsibility to another agency - in this case the US Army.
3) If the property is Department of Defense managed, then the...
If DOD "owns' that strip along the border, then DOD is legally allowed to secure that border. It is a long narrow strip I believe assigned to FT Huachuca. It is actually a genius move.
I love my Peloton 240 hoodie. I got one in solid colors - mostly a dark green - off the Kuiu Outlet. I live in Georgia (not that cold) so I where it Fall, Winter, Spring casually and as part of layers for cool/colder PRS mornings in the South. Used it as part of layer system while hunting in...
What is crazy - I have terrible coverage with tmobile in Southeast away from urban areas but I went antelope hunting in NOWHERE New Mexico and had super coverage. Tmobile advertises they cover a huge amount of Americans and that is true if you live in Atlanta, etc. but not true in rural GA.
I live in middle Georgia and travel all over Southeast for PRS, etc. We have Tmobile and you will need satellite service whenever you are away from urban areas (in the Southeast).
It is recently "official" - it was a "wildcat" developed for PRS by GA Precision (+ others). Just recently Hornady released to widespread market. It is a specialty target cartridge - not sure if it will ever be released in a "hunting" form although I suspect that a 109ELDM would work well on...
