Closest I got to a moose was 200 yds. But one guy thought he was going to get run over by a bull coming to a call .just depends. It can be done.just the odds are much lower

I am starting to agree with the argument of wearing gloves when field dressing skinning animals. But also do it away from anyone else and distraction to avoid problems

A lot of options in newfoundland and they are not all booked out several years .figure out what kind of hunt you want and your expectations. If you want to hunt moose for the meat or want an opportunity for a large bull??

I went to nf. Last year had a great time and great experience seen some awesome country and killed a moose. I like traveling and experience. Next year I'm going to hunt moose in ak. For another experience. Cost is double +. But chance at a bigger moose. Lots of good options in Canada

I seen 1 elk with bone sour I've heard it called.yellowish fluid in the femur sockets ,under Backstrap and in neck as mentioned earlier and an unpleasant odor.
