Moose Mount Display

In the process of planning a moose hunt and looking at all these Euro mounts makes me that much more excited!

Solidly in the euro camp as well. My dad has a 65” moose that he skull capped and covered in felt, regrets it everyday. Also, screw packing out a moose cape lol.

Only photo I have handy is my wife putting up a our Christmas tree, but it gives you an idea.

My Dads Colorado B&C Shiras in his 16X80 trailer house. Somehow he convinced my mom and the Taxidermist did an Awesome job, in suggesting the form to make it work!! View attachment 536163
full sneak on moose is the way to go to conserve space. thats the pose i used on my shiras from 2019. great moose too!

For those with euro mounts what is the approximate height of the mounts? I’m assuming it’s about equal to the width based off pictures but could be way off.

My ceilings are only 8ft so I want to see how far down the wall it would hang.

This is a smaller (50”), bull from last year that I still haven’t finished. A couple pieces broke off of his nose in the boiling process but I was able to save them and plan on gluing them back on when I’m done cleaning up the skull. So I’d guess about 46”-48”, top to bottom, when he’s done.
