in case you had not seen, various news outlets have run stories today about CWD. Not particularly balanced reporting at all but also not top tier news organizations. It concerns me about how this issue is sensationalized in the headlines and beyond in the articles. I share a concern voiced by others that if deer and crevices become viewed as disease vectors, it could adversely impact the overall hunting industry.

Fellas....better watch it. These are the types of articles that can stir the pot in a major way. If enough are convinced that humans can become zombied by contracting CWD they will irredicate entire herds of animals. Wheter the threat is real or not, perception is reality.

My mom forwards me a CWD article every other month. "CWD" never appears in the headlines, its alwasy somthing like "Zombie deer"
