Use these for a lot of strapping needs. Easier and holds way tighter than anything except ratchet straps but weigh almost nothing. You can get really good tension with just one hand pulling the tag end. Multiple lengths.
100% agree - be careful if it's cold, I've had them brand new zip ties fail in cold temps bc they get brittle.FWIW, I use zip ties at work on a fairly regular basis and in cold weather or if they sit out for just a little bit, they become brittle quick.
