For all the FRs out there. Please remove if not allowed, but Lems just released some vibram soled, polishable tactical boots. I’m a paramedic on an ambulance and am thinking hard about buying some. I have a bunch of coworkers who are fans of barefoot shoes looking for an option for work that holds up well.

Edit; their GovX discount is incredibly generous as well.

Are you getting a set? If so I’m curious how easy they are to get in and out of using the 2 speed hooks.

Currently at work (fire dept/ambulance) I use Jim greens and vivo trackers. Vivo stopped making a black leather tracker though.

I tried the mid height. There was a bump on the inside side where the leather strips were sewn together in the left boot which was very uncomfortable. I returned for refund but had to pay postage for manufacturing defect.

Good to know, thank you.

I’m also looking at some black Jim Greens. Being able to order on Amazon and re-soling them is tempting.

The JG is a decent duty boot, provides a little protection just from then stitch down design.

Normally I’ll get a year out of a set of boots, With resoles I expect quite a few more with the JG

Sounds like born primitive is coming out with a "tactical" low-zero drop boot at SHOT. I think I heard on a podcast that it'll be in LEO colors also. It might be another option to wait and check out.
