I’ve got a 3-18x50 Zeiss Conquest V6 on the way. I selected the Z-MOA 2 reticle for wind holds off the bench and hunting. Hash marks are 2 MOA at 18 power (SFP).

Anyone got experience this reticle? I am curious if it will be serviceable in a low light hunting scenario.

I have this same scope/reticle on my 300WM. My 35yo eyes don't have any issues picking up the reticle in low light conditions. The reticle is more bold in person compared to online pictures. Between the light transmission and image clarity I don't feel that not being illuminated hinders the reticles visibility but everyone's eyes are different.

I'd be curious to hear any reactions as well. My only hesitance ordering one is the lack of any illumination.

I got my V6 and the Z-MOA reticle is thick enough to see in low light but not too thick for long distance shooting. I really like it. The hash marks are 2 MOA at full 18x on my scope.

The only real negative is every other scope on earth pretty much uses a 1 moa reticle. So if you have more then one it may be hard to swap back and forth.

I didn’t think about that. One of my Leupold VX5HDs has the Windplex which is 1 MOA.

I will say I can quickly tell the difference based off the spacing of the hashes.
