Zeiss is attacking the heart of the riflescope market with their new V3 line.
Models from 2.5-8X35 to 6-18x50. The entire line retails under $1000 US with the 2.5-8 coming in at $399 and the rimfire version at only $299.
I have two models for testing.
The 4.5-14x44 with illuminated SHRi reticle ($799) is mounted up on the Snowy Mountain 6.5 PRC:


while the 2.5-8x35 with the XRR reticle I have mounted on a carbine .223:


I have had some time with these scopes and will finish up the optics/features field review soon before sending the 4.5-14X44 over to @Ryan Avery for standard Rokslide durability testing.
