zeiss terra ed 10x42 vs viper hd 10x42

Looking to get some new glass and I know vortex has the best warranty but i can get the zeiss for about 100$ less. any advice?

I bought a pair of viper HD 10x42's a year ago. I love them. I considered the terra's but chose the vipers because I could see a little more detail with them. I thought they were worth the extra money. I was very impressed with the terra's though. Camofire has had terra binos on it recently.

I haven't compared to the terra eds, but the viper is not as clear as the Conquest HDs, but I imagine it may be a little better then the Terras.... just speculation.

Zeiss Customer service is very good as well. I bought some demo Conquest HDs from Camera Land and they came with a small chip in the lens, Zeiss sent me a pre-paid label and are sending me a new pair back as we speak with no cost to me

Vortex Warranty is amazing tho.

I thought that the Vipers were a little better, but I didn't look through side by side. I also thought that the Nikon Monarch 7's were better than both. The Nikon warranty is not as good though.

Conquests would be a better comparison in my opinion, but I think I'm going to get the viper hds for the money I can spend.
