Once my R700 5R sells, I will buying a Tikka Roughtech in .308. I currently have a Zeiss HD5 3-15x42 with exposed elevation turret that I was planning to use. After spending a lot of time reading here, would it be worth it to sell it and buy the Credo 2.5-15x42? This will be my primary hunting rifle for whitetail in Texas under 300 yards. I've really only had experience with the mid tier level of scopes like the HD5 and a Leupold Mark 4 that's on the R700. Thanks in advance for any insight.

I guess to be more specific, is the glass in the Credo clearer and does anyone have experience with the HD5 tracking and return to zero. I only had it on for 7-8 rounds to sight in and sold the gun.

Trijicon is a way better option regardless of glass, I believe all the Zeiss' never passed the drop eval.
On here you're going to get recommendations that look like:

Nightforce NX8, NXS, SHV ATACR
Trijicon Tenmile
SWFA
Maven rs1.2
