Zeiss HD5 5-25x50

Cabelas has the Zeiss 5-25x50 HD5 on sale for $599.99 with free shipping. and you should be able to also use the $150.00 rebate from Zeiss as well. I did not need another scope, but for that price, I picked one up.

EDIT: Rebate elgibility is not confirmed. I am going to call on Monday to see if this qualifies or not... Looks like they were sneaky, and did every scope except this one.. Lets hope it's a typo.

Not to throw a stick in the mud but.....I dont see the Z-Plex recital on the rebate form. its has the Varmit LTT. 800LTT & the 600HT but no Z-Plex. NOT to say its not rebate able, just saying its not on the list I'm seeing @ ZEISS.RebateAccess.com

Shoot... the #20 reticle is the z plex, but it looks like they have excluded only the 5-25x50 from this. They have the #20 with the lockable target turret elgible for the rebate, but do not list the #20 without. Im going to call them on Monday. Either way, it should be a pretty nice scope for $600, hoping for less.

I was hoping the varmint reticle option would be on sale for 600, but nope still over 1k. So it looks like only I reticle version is on sale for 600 and is not eligible for the 150 rebate...

DItto. Might as well get one for the wifes gun. Just wish the varmit reticle was on sale also. The ZPlex seems super thick for any long range work, but that is just an observation without and experience behind that recticle.

Mine came Friday, but no one was home to sign for it. Should be re-delivered tomorrow. I put in a call to Zeiss regarding the rebate, and never got a call back. Might try again tomorrow.
