Zeiss 20-50x65 Compact Spotting scope

At the Hillsboro (OR) Sportsman Show yesterday and saw this Zeiss 20-50x65 compact spotte. I guess this is one, if not the first, sample Zeiss has put out on display as I was told they only just a week or so ago mentioned it in their dealer newsletter but I cant find any details about it on the internet as of yet. I don't recall the exact weight but it was 3#ish and after comparing the Kowa 55a, Maven S2 and the Swaro ATC I promptly put a deposit down on the Zeiss which is said to be shipping in early May. The Japanese glass was very clear and at $1500 (street price, not a show special) I suspect this thing is going to take a lot of sales from those other manufacturers.

Interesting… I’ve always liked Zeiss glass.

CORRECTIONS/UPDATES
1: the show is the @NWHUNTEXPO and not the Hillsboro Sportsman Show as I erroneously called it haha
2: the spotter has an extendable sunshade built in
3: it is said to ship with the removable paddle on the magnification adjuster which is visible in the photo

That looks nice. I would like to compare it to my Kowa 664. If the eye relief is noticeably better I might try one.
