Zamberlan 960 guide boot

I have a pair. Room in toe box, but I am not a wide size. Been a great boot since 2014. I probably have close to 500 miles on them. I took to shoe repair man to touch up after hunting season last year. I'm trying to get one more year out of them. Does great with heavy loads as well.

I just got mine on Thursday. I don't have any miles on them yet. I'll give you my thoughts soon.

I have a pair. I have a fairly narrow foot and they fit me well. I wish the rand covered the heel though. I wore them in the San Juans and the leather on the back of the heels took a beating sliding down all the rocky mountainsides. Plenty of room in the toe box. the factory insoles are sufficiently comfortable. All around great boot and that should take a beating for a good while.

Loved mine, I have the 980's now, and I think my next boot from them will be the Latemars, no gore tex lining and all leather with calf skin lining in them. Just what I am looking for, except no rand, but I can deal with that for the breathability alone. Zamberlan's normal last is fairly narrow, typical european last, if you have wide feet you need to get their 1000 series boots which are the wides. Only knock I had with my 960's was the size...but that was my fault, I bought the wrong one lol. Still made it through an entire elk season and sent them on to a new home in great shape, even with a ton of miles on them.

I've had mine for 2 seasons now. I have a narrow foot and the fit has been nice. They took a little time to break in but overall I've been very happy with them.

What is the width of your feet? The reason I ask is I'm a 13-1/2B on left and 13B on the right and I have a terrible time getting a hiking/backpacking type of boot that is narrow enough. I'm currectly using the Kenetreks in narrow but I'm one of the them guys that gets his heels eaten up in Kenetreks. I have been hearing good things about the 960's but no one handles Zamberlan around where I live so I'd have to order sight unseen. Appreciate your input.
