I had this built in 2013 & it’s had a few strings in it and various accessories on it over the years. It was originally built to be 87lbs. 75lbs is still a safe weight, I’m sure there are companies out there building something for your setup.Id be stoked to get some 75# limbs for my traverse. This is going to be my setup this year. Used a Hyde on pigs this past week. Liked what I saw.Evolution outdoors Jekyll and Hyde, I carry both in my quiver and haven't looked back since.
Mind elaborating on the G5 deadmeat for elk? Curious to its durability, penetration, wound entry and exits, and blood trails. Shot distances and quartering angles if you don’t mind! ThanksFor me it’s been the G5 dead meat expandable. They shoot awesome way past what I would shoot at an animal, I’ve shot them out to 100.
I’m shooting 27.5” draw, 70lbs and 450-500gr arrows and have mostly had pass throughs with them on elk. I’m trying a new head this year just because but I have a pile of dead meats I won’t get rid of.
You are pulling 92 lbs? Holy **** dude. With a 29.5 draw? that is a great arrow set up all the way to cape buffalo.Iron will sb w/bleeders for me. Fantastic head! No flight issues out to 60yds. 92lb, 29.5”, 614gr, 16% foc. Won’t be changing this anytime soon.
Yes. I went over the fasteners and string last week. Had the timing and weight checked yesterday, 92.4lbs. Practice a lot with it. Shooting tournaments gets a little tricky the first couple days afterwards. But I shoot enough. Sounds impressive until you are about to make your dreams n goals a reality harvesting your first 300+” heard bull on public land and some tiny twig you don’t see flopping in the wind deflects that arrow, then it doesn’t matter if it was the 343gr arrow you started out with or the one you have now.You are pulling 92 lbs?
