Thoughts on the “Hunter” style stock, if that’s a Stockys? Also am liking this 16” 6.5CM that killed a cow in November:
It is. It’s ok. I have a Peak 44 Blacktooth in hand to replace it, but I think I’m going to either return that or sell it too. I want to try out the Echelon stock. The stockys being a conventional sporter style just doesn’t have enough comb for me; I can use it well enough, but would prefer a smidge more comb. I also don’t like the smoothness of the stock, same the Peak 44, and the stocky’s bottom metal inlet doesn’t allow the factory bottom plastic to sit flush, nor does any aluminum bottom metal fit it, even those that are “drop in” replacements for the tikka bottom plastic.Thoughts on the “Hunter” style stock, if that’s a Stockys?

So it’s just “ok”… it’s lighter than the factory stock, but not ideal for me.
Slick rig and cartridge! I’m really liking my Classic actionQuickly becoming my favorite 6x45.
6x45 on a Defiance Classic, 18” PBB Carbon pre-fit, Manners Night Stalker. Could be shorter with a different suppressor but it’s short enough.
And in its night hunting configuration:
